For seniors only. 40 College and University representatives will be available at Napa Valley College to provide general information about their programs and answer student questions. A list of participating Colleges and Universities may be found on the http://www.napavalley.edu/ website as the date nears. A bus will depart from Justin-Siena for this field trip. A limited number of seats are available and pre-registration is required. Permission slips are available in the College Counseling Center.

The Jesuit Excellence Tour (JET) is a recruitment event that takes place in twenty metro areas across the country. Students who participate in the JET programs are provided simultaneous access to a number of Jesuit institutions, to which some of the students may not have had previous exposure. All students in all grade levelsare expected to attend. Attendance will be taken before and after the college fair.

This 5 day (4 night) field trip is exclusive to students in the Geology of National Parks class. Information on registration, transportation and lodging was posted on Schoology in June. Students will depart from Justin-Siena on Monday morning and return to campus on Friday night. Accommodations will be hosted by the Yosemite Institute. The field trip includes hiking and exploring geological features in the valley area of the park. Night activities include stargazing and animal-watching in the meadow near Curry Village. Students will also attend a campfire program at the Valley Visitor Center. More details will be given out in class.

Justin-Siena welcomes Mark Rappaport ’72 for an evening of discussion of the world of movie special effects. His company, Creature Effects, Inc. is at the leading edge of the Hollywood creature and makeup effects industry. Rappaport has created hyper-realistic animatronic animals and memorable make-up effects for such films as I am Legend, Ted 2, Wild, Gone Girl, 300 and The Last Samurai.
This visiting program is designed for students to spend part of their day getting to know the campus, the students and the teachers. Our Brave for a Day visiting days are generally on Mondays and you must be pre-registered to attend. The day begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at approximately 12:50 p.m.
On these visiting days, we encourage parents to register for our Parent Tour and Talk. The Parent Tour and Talk usually lasts about 2 and a half hours and includes a tour of the campus along with the opportunity to learn more about Justin-Siena.
